Make a Wish makes it happen again!

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — A Highlands Ranch high school has spent the last week raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. On Friday the students unveiled the final number in their fundraising quest. Rock Canyon High School raised $65,700.

A year ago Jeremy was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. His mom Jennifer said, “He had a tumor that completely took up his chest.”

Jeremy didn’t let his diagnosis defeat his sense of humor though. “Jeremy`s first wish was that it would rain hot dogs,” said Griffin. So it did. The students let hotdog shaped balloons rain on him like confetti.  It was great to see Jeremy happy and we here at BALLOONATICS were happy to help.

Balloons in the Colorado Convention Center

How do you decorate an entire convention center? You start with adding lots of great Balloon columns and several balloon sculptures along with very tall balloon columns. Then you make more and more and more. Did I mention you want to make some more? How Many? How about over a hundred! Denver was in for a treat when Davita showed up down town!

Jack steals Christmas!

JackSkelington JackStealsChristmas

Always fun creating something special for the retailers of Flat Iron Crossing and their annual retailers meeting.  This year we feature Jack Skellington from The Nightmare before Christmas.  Obviously Sandy Claws is not happy with Jack as Jack takes his hat.  Happy Holidays to you from everyone here at BALLOONATICS.

Restoration Complete!

Colorado Capital FIRST Balloon Drop

With the restoration of the Colorado Capital Dome complete there was no better way to celebrate then a very tasteful and appropriate gold balloon drop from the top of the capital dome! We surprised everyone as no one had prior knowledge that there was going to be a balloon drop. Another awesome feature was we were told this was the first time there had ever been a balloon drop in the Colorado Capital and the current standing governor, John Hickenlooper even posted it to his Facebook page. Click on the image above to check out the video he shot.

Great balloon sculpture ideas!

Why settle for the usual spiral balloon columns? A large balloon question mark to indicate the info location. Palm trees, anchors and Koosh balloon sculptures are just the start of what we can create. We can create fun and exciting sculptures that liven up any event. Ask us next time what we can create for you!

Denver Botanic gardens celebrates Chihuly

Tonight is a special event at the Denver Botanic Gardens celebrating Dale Chihuly’s glass art. We decorated the event by making twisted balloon sculptures in the same style as some of his exquisite art works. Here is the write up from the Denver Botanic Gardens website.

“Denver Botanic Gardens presents the Rocky Mountain Region’s first major outdoor exhibition of artwork by celebrated American artist, Dale Chihuly. Chihuly’s sculptures – ranging in size and form – add bold colors and dramatic beauty to the Gardens’ 24-acre urban oasis.”

“Chihuly is credited with revolutionizing the Studio Glass movement and elevating the perception of the glass medium from the realm of craft to fine art. He is renowned for ambitious architectural installations around the world, in historic cities, museums and gardens.”
